Sirikit (born Mom Rajawongse Sirikit Kitiyakara; 12 August 1932) is the mother of Vajiralongkorn (Rama X), the current king of Thailand, and the former queen consort of Thailand from 1950 to 2016 as the wife of King Bhumibol (Rama IX). She met Bhumibol in Paris, where her father was Thai ambassador. They married in 1950, shortly before Bhumibol's coronation. Read more on Wikipedia
