Hedjkheperre Setepenre Shoshenq I (Egyptian ššnq,:, reigned c. 943–922 BC)—also known as Sheshonk or Sheshonq I—was a pharaoh of ancient Egypt and the founder of the Twenty-second Dynasty of Egypt.
