Robinson José Canó (Spanish pronunciation: [ka'no]; born October 22, 1982) is a Dominican professional baseball second baseman for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). A native of San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, Canó signed with the New York Yankees organization as an amateur free agent in 2001.
