Nuri Şahin (Turkish pronunciation: [nuɾi ʃahin]; born 5 September 1988) is a football manager and former professional player who played as a midfielder. He is currently an assistant manager of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. He began his career at Borussia Dortmund, spending six years there – including a year-long loan at Feyenoord – and winning the Bundesliga in 2011 before signing for Real Madrid in 2011 for €10 million.
