José Batlle Perdomo Teixeira (born 5 January 1965) is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in Salto, he started his career with Club Atlético Peñarol in 1983, being later noted in 1989 by Genoa head coach Franco Scoglio during a South-American scouting visit, being signed by the rossoblu together with fellow Uruguayans Carlos "Pato" Aguilera and Rubén Paz. Perdomo, who was expected to be a mainstay within the Genoa midfield line, played 25 unimpressive matches, being remembered only for his lack of pace and acceleration, as well as his excessive playing aggressivity.
