José María Giménez de Vargas (Spanish pronunciation: [xoˈse maˈɾi.a xiˈmenez ðe ˈβaɾɣas]; born 20 January 1995) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Spanish club Atlético Madrid and the Uruguay national team.
