Joubert Araújo Martins, or simply Beto (born 7 January 1975, in Cuiabá) is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a midfielder. During his career, he played for several Brazilian clubs such as Botafogo, Grêmio, Flamengo, Fluminense and Vasco da Gama. After a very promising beginning to his career with Botafogo, Beto made his debut for the Brazil national team in 1995, in a friendly match against Argentina, in Buenos Aires, which Brazil won 1–0.
