Biniam Girmay Hailu (born 2 April 2000) is an Eritrean professional road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty. At the 2024 Tour de France, Biniam won the Green Jersey becoming the first African to win any jersey at the Tour. At the same Tour, he made history by becoming the first black African rider to win a Tour de France stage – he won stages 3, 8, and 12. At the 2022 Giro d'Italia, he became the first African cyclist to win a Grand Tour stage after winning stage 10 in a reduced bunch sprint.

Merhawi Kudus Ghebremedhin (Tigrinya: መርሃዊ ቕዱስን ገብረመድኅን; born 23 January 1994) is an Eritrean professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Terengganu Cycling Team. During his professional career, Merhawi has taken six victories including three national road titles as well as the general classification and two stages at the 2019 Tour du Rwanda.

Natnael Teweldemedhin Berhane (Tigrinya: ናትናኤል ተወልደመድህን ብርሃነ; born 5 January 1991) is an Eritrean professional road bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Continental team Istanbul Büyükșehir Belediye Spor Türkiye. He is a two-time winner of the road race at the African Road Championships, in 2011 and 2012.

Mossana Debesai (born 25 November 1993) is an Eritrean professional racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's Team Servetto–Piumate–Beltrami TSA. She competed in the women's road race event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She rode in the women's road race at the 2016 UCI Road World Championships. In 2019, she won the African Road Championships road race and in 2018 and the African Road Championships individual time trial. She is the younger sister of Mekseb Debesay who won the men's competition in both events.
